We are asking members to provide us
with feedback as to why the attendance was below normal and help us in making
our events better. Unfortunately the
attendance at our 12s & under Fun Day was disappointing. The Fun Day is normally
a popular show and attendance has always been high.
Each year at the end of the Showing
Season we hold our Chantry Championships. The Chantry
Championships is our biggest show of the year. Competitors
qualify at events throught the season held all over
Yorkshire & Lancashire to gain entry and take part in the 2
day Championships held at the Hallamshire Riding Society’s
Show Ground.
The Hallamshire
Riding Society is offering the opportunity to take part in
our 2008 Chantry Championships by becoming one of our
sponsors.
We offer a range of sponsorship
opportunities involving: Class, Championship, Ring, and Day
Sponsorship. Many sponsors like to provide trophies which
are presented to the Champions or Class winners. We
encourage trade stands, marquees and banners to help
advertise at the show grounds, and invite you to attend on
the day. Attached is a brief schedule of the event for your
information. Details of sponsors will be printed in the
final schedule.
Approximately 1,500 competitors have
qualified for the 2008 Chantry Championships, and will be
taking part over the 2 day event in 4 Competition Rings at
our Show Ground.
Class
sponsorship starts at only £20.00. We greatly
appreciate every sponsorship donation. The Hallamshire
Riding Society is a non-profit organisation, sponsorship is
used to advertise your business, show support to the
Hallamshire Riding Society and generate revenue to recover
some of the costs incurred by running the 2 day
Championships.
Please note the closing date for
sponsorship is Tuesday 26th August 2008.
